Session: Pain Neuroscience Applications for Telehealth

Dr. Irene Luc has practiced in an orthopedic setting since 2002, specifically patients with autoimmune conditions and chronic pain. She is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and certified Therapeutic Pain Specialist through Evidence in Motion. Motivated to learn more about neuroscience, she extended her studies to the brain and how it processes pain, emotions and trauma. She blends her physical therapy knowledge with neuroscience brain training in her private practice, aptly named Mind Door, LLC (in Eastern Washington state). Additionally trained as a certified Anxiety Rehabilitation Service Provider, she addresses the mental health aspect as it relates to physical pain, especially for women who have experienced trauma. She teaches/ consults on telehealth, marketing, and developing online programs to clinicians who want to expand their practices
